Kenaz for Claude Code and Codex
Kenaz, a Kameas AI product.
Early access, pre-release.
Kenaz connects Claude Code and Codex on your developers' machines to your organization's Kameas Fleet. With each developer's permission, it shares usage summaries with your organization: session counts and timing, tool kinds, model names, token counts and, where your tool reports it, cost. It never shares prompts, AI responses or code. It also lets developers install shared skills, use your team's context, and keep a memory on their own device, which they can choose to sync to their own Kameas Fleet account.
Nothing is shared until a developer signs in and chooses what to share, and they can change their choice at any time. Exactly what is sent: kenaz.kameas.ai/telemetry.
Requires a Kameas Fleet account. Kenaz for Claude Code and Codex is in early access for organizations in our early-access program. Talk to us.
Supported tools
Kenaz works with AI tools and platforms made by other companies. The current list, and how Kenaz connects to each, is on Supported tools.
The kenaz program runs on macOS, Linux and Windows, on arm64 and amd64.
What you need
- A Kameas Fleet organization on a paid plan that has joined the early-access program.
If it hasn't,
kenaz loginstops with "Kenaz for Claude Code and Codex is in early access. Contact sales@kameas.ai to join." - Your own Kameas account in that organization.
- Claude Code, Codex, or both, installed on your machine.
- The
kenazprogram for your operating system, from the download page.
What you install
Kenaz for Claude Code and Codex has two parts, and each download contains both:
- The
kenazprogram. It signs you in to Kameas Fleet, shows the notice and records your choices, and runs a small local relay that Claude Code and Codex talk to on127.0.0.1. - The
kenazplugin package. It's in Claude Code plugin format, which Codex also loads. It adds the/kenaz:login,/kenaz:status,/kenaz:skillsand/kenaz:sharecommands, thekenazMCP server, and session start and end hooks. The MCP server and hooks run thekenazprogram.
The plugin is also published as the kenaz marketplace at github.com/kameas-ai/kenaz-plugin (install id kenaz@kenaz).
It still needs the kenaz program.
What Kenaz for Claude Code and Codex reports about your sessions is decided by open-source code you can read at github.com/kameas-ai/kenaz-plugin. The part that connects to Kameas Fleet (sign-in and transport) is proprietary.
Getting started
